Unit mix
The breakdown of a property's units by type, such as studios, one-, two- and three-bedrooms, with counts and sizes.
Unit mix is usually shown as the number and percentage of each floor plan, with average square footage and market rent. In mixed-use properties it also includes commercial and retail spaces.
Mix shapes who the property attracts and how it leases. Tracking occupancy, days vacant and pricing by unit type shows which floor plans are over- or under-supplied relative to demand.
